Was I "Blammed" or "Splogged"?

Once I log onto my e-mail account, I check it regularly. If I'm online, I'll get a new message every half-hour or so, usually from some list or other that I signed up for and now regret.
Imagine my surprise when I checked at 9:10 and saw that I had 75 messages in my inbox. 75. I knew almost immediately that something was amiss. After opening my inbox, I saw that they were all from "anonymous" and were posted to some rant from this My Sick Mind site, even though they didn't actually address anything. The comments were along these lines:
Great site loved it alot, will come back and visit again.
Hi! Just want to say what a nice site. Bye, see you soon.
This site is one of the best I have ever seen, wish I had one like this.
What a great site, how do you build such a cool site, its excellent.
Super color scheme, I like it! Good job. Go on.
It was the "color scheme" note that aroused my suspicion - other than the 74 others - since, as you can see, the color scheme isn't so much a scheme as it is black and white.
I was being Blog-Spammed, but for what purpose? Why would "anonymous" leave a slightly different message for each of the posts I have made? While I appreciate the fact that it is "one of the best I have ever seen", no matter how phony it may be. Nevertheless, if I believe it to be sincere, then it is.
It wasn't the first time it had happened, nor do I suppose it will be the last. So I ask, dear Blog buddies, what is the point?

That happened to me a few months ago - except that I was hit 125 times overnight! Same weird comments; I guess they want you to click on the arrow and go to their sites. Frickin' spam weasels.

Tonight I opened my yahoo acct. which logs my comments-tonight I had 56 emails in my inbox. I knew the jerks found me once again because let's be real-my blog isn't that good to get that many comments. LOL. F**kers!

I've seen these on other people's blog comments. They are usually followed by "visit my site at:------".

But your blog IS really cool! But it's because of what you say, not your color scheme!

My weekly supermarket trip is generally odd enough to support a blog of its own, but God (and Bill O'Reilly) knows I don't need something else to do. Last night, I'm standing in line with my usual assortment of odd items, when I see the woman in front of me hesitate for a moment. The cashier had told her that her order came to $124.25, and this caused the woman to ponder, "I want to make this check out so that I get cash back. What's the limit?" That's right - the check . Thirteen Things That Scare Me a Little The Christmas decorations are up at the local mall, but never mind that. Tuesday is Hallowe'en. 1. Any letter from my Condo Association. It makes my heart skip a beat. Usually it's something really stupid that I'm not doing. Tell the people who are doing it and leave me alone. 2. Spam e-mail with T.M.I. I recently got a Spam message that contained my first and last name, from a Landon Nicholson (no relation) telling me that "Your history shows that your Viagra prescription is ready to be re-filled."
