A rich bitch

As Joe Miller says in Philadelphia, "Now, explain it to me like I'm a four-year-old." How can a person give $12 million to a dog?
Dead former hotel queen Leona Helmsley left her beloved white Maltese, named Trouble, a $12 million trust fund, according to her will, which was made public Tuesday in surrogate court.
I've heard about things like this, but I think it's always been in fiction - some TV show or movie where a dog or cat gets money that could have otherwise gone to relatives or charities. I'm not too smart, so explain it to me like I'm a four-year old.
How can a person legally give money to a dog? Where does that money go - really? The dog will be dead in a few years. What happens to the money?
If we had any brains, dear readers, we would track down the dog, tease him relentlessly until he snaps and bites; then sue his furry ass for $12 million.
That's what I'm thinking.

I wonder what the other two grandkids did...apparently they know, but me being the nosey ass that I am...I wanna know.

I'm in too. We just have to make it look like we weren't antagonizing the dog. That wouldn't look good for our case.

I have a feeling that dog's days are numbered.

My weekly supermarket trip is generally odd enough to support a blog of its own, but God (and Bill O'Reilly) knows I don't need something else to do. Last night, I'm standing in line with my usual assortment of odd items, when I see the woman in front of me hesitate for a moment. The cashier had told her that her order came to $124.25, and this caused the woman to ponder, "I want to make this check out so that I get cash back. What's the limit?" That's right - the check . Thirteen Things That Scare Me a Little The Christmas decorations are up at the local mall, but never mind that. Tuesday is Hallowe'en. 1. Any letter from my Condo Association. It makes my heart skip a beat. Usually it's something really stupid that I'm not doing. Tell the people who are doing it and leave me alone. 2. Spam e-mail with T.M.I. I recently got a Spam message that contained my first and last name, from a Landon Nicholson (no relation) telling me that "Your history shows that your Viagra prescription is ready to be re-filled." Uh-huh. My personal history shows that I need Viagra like I need a hair dryer and a comb. 3. When the Boss says, "You got a minute?" He never calls me in to chit-chat. 4. Dying alone.
