Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) (L), expected to be elected Speaker of the House in the aftermath of the midterm elections, shares a laugh with Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid (D-NV) on Capitol Hill the day after Democrats took control of the House for the first time in 12 years, in Washington November 8, 2006.

lovely just lovely.... hopefully the changes made are for the good of the people and for the good of the world as a whole.
Wow, really enjoying your election extravaganza series here at your blog!
This has been quite the week...even though I am from another country...we follow your elections, since we are sort of attached at the hip. I was so happy yesterday when Rumsfeld was booted out, wow and even enjoyed the beaten look on Bush's face. Wow, he really felt it!
Should be interesting, now in Cananda, we constantly make fun of our politiicans, we don't put them on a pedestal like you all do.
We're a rather suspicious crew of voters and we have a complete jerk as a leader ight now. yikes! And one day last year, someone had changed the signs in a bus that said our leader ate babies, and no one complained for several days...until coincidently one of his staff was forced to take public transit and saw the bus altered sign.
Hey, I was late today with my TT list, I see perhaps you are too...well here is my list if you get around to it..

I think she is quite lovely. Him, not so much.
Anyway, I just wish that the D&R's would all just find some middle ground and start there.
I am really tired of all the finger pointing, bickering etc.
